This year we will be making 36" x 48" quilts for nursing home residents and babies.  See the details on the Charities page.  We will also be supporting HAVEN, as we have for many years.  See our monthly newsletter article for the items in need for each month.
 

Battered women's shelter in Pontiac, MI.

  • Bed quilts and household staples are needed.

An organization that sends foster children, ages 7 to 11, to camp. We will be providing quilts to two camp sessions, forty-six at each camp, for a total of 92 quilts for these youngsters this year that they may keep as their own.

An organization providing assistance to disadvantaged mothers and mothers to be.

Their goal is to give a bright cheery pillowcase to every seriously ill child in North America by 2015. In addition, they are expanding internationally with chapters in Canada & South Africa.

The mission of the QOV Foundation is to cover ALL war wounded and injured servicemembers and veterans from the War on Terror whether physical or psychological wounds with Wartime quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVS).

  • Patriotic quilts

For injured soldiers returning from the conflicts in the Middle East. Miracle Quilts, a division of Desert Angels is delivering quilts.

Cathy McIntee has designed a pattern specifically for this cause. It is suggested that quilts be at least 60" x 72" and can be as large as 72" x 90". Patriotic fabric is suggested.
