GLHQ supports the following organizations: 

Haven - Battered women's shelter in Pontiac, MI. Bed quilts and household staples are needed.

Royal Family Kids’ Camps – An organization that sends foster children, ages 7 to 11, to camp. We will be providing quilts to forty-six of these youngsters this year that they may keep as their own.

Oakland County Medical Societies Baby Shower – An organization providing assistance to disadvantaged mothers and mothers to be. We will be providing hand made baby quilts.

Conkerr - Their goal is to give a bright cheery pillowcase to every seriously ill child in North America by 2015. In addition, they are expanding internationally with chapters in Canada & South Africa.

Hero Quilts - for injured soldiers returning from the conflicts in the Middle East. Miracle Quilts, a division of Desert Angels is delivering quilts. Cathy McIntee has designed a pattern specifically for this cause. It is suggested that quilts be at least 60" x 72" and can be as large as 72" x 90". Patriotic fabric is suggested. Quilts of Valor - The mission of the QOV Foundation is to cover ALL war wounded and injured servicemembers and veterans from the War on Terror whether physical or psychological wounds with Wartime quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVS).
