Join us IN-PERSON for our April Meeting, My Six C's of Quilting, featuring Kathrin Brown.

Kathrin was introduced to quilting in 2013 when attending her first Quilt Show - Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF) in Santa Clara, CA where she lived at the time. Growing up in Germany where needle crafts were part of the school curriculum, sewing was not new to her but the variety that quilting quilting offers - modern, art, traditional, improv - took her at overwhelming astonishment. Having to make up for 25 years of ignorance, she jumped in with hands and feet and has been prolifically making quilts (25-30 each year), learning techniques, challenging herself and making friends. In her slide show she’ll share many of her colorful quilts and what keeps her quilting and making!

This event will occur in-person at the Birmingham Unitarian Church Social Hall and will be available via Zoom.

Guests may join in person for a $10 guest fee at the door or register for the Zoom and pay online.
