Alice Ridge has been a quilter for over 40 years, embracing everything from traditional handwork to modern and art quilts. Her husband was in the Army for 35 years and they moved 22 times during his career. This gave Alice the opportunity to explore the textile arts in many countries and cultures.
She will be the guest lecturer for our October 9th meeting when she presents "Quilt Trip Around the World". This exciting trunk show will give us a glimpse of many quilting and textile practices from the far flung corners of the world.
Alice will be presenting a workshop the next day on Free Motion Quilting on a domestic machine.
