Represent GLHQ at the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo at the Vibe Credit Union (formerly Suburban) Showplace in Novi on November 5, 6, and 7, 2026.
Volunteer for a 3- to 3.5-hour shift and earn free admission to the show before or after your shift! You may sign up for more than one shift. Use this event system in order to help us keep track of who's coming (we are limited to 18 total) and receive friendly automated emails about your shift. We would like to have a minimum of 2 people per shift so when nature calls, the booth is not left unattended!
If all the spaces are full, be sure to join the waiting list in case another volunteer's plans change.
In order to qualify for a free booth at the Novi Expo, GLHQ needs 20 hours of volunteering from our guild members in the role of Ambassador. If you are interested in being an Ambassador (in addition to staffing our table -OR- instead of staffing the table), please register. Your name will be added to the Ambassador list and we will send you the information (when we get it) to sign up directly with the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo for an Ambassador spot that works for you! Spots fill up quickly, so don't delay in signing up once you receive the email.

Please note: Morning Shifts are 9:45 am - 1:45 pm and Afternoon Shifts are 1:45 pm - 5:30 pm.
